Big Changes!!

So a lot has happened since last time! Ben just got a job working as a solids technician in North Dakota and in Wyoming it's a pretty crazy job. He will be working 15 days on and 6 days off. Today is the second day he has been gone and it has been sooo hard!! It seems like he has been gone a year! He is in Wyoming right now for his training, and says that he is liking it. I am having a pretty hard time with him gone, I haven't ever spent more than a day away from him so it is a huge adjustment. Ben told me that I should start a T.V. show called Rig Wives. haha it would just be a bunch of whining women complaining that their husbands are never around. haha. It's been good though, for the 6 days he will be home I will get him totally to myself, he wont have to worry about work or anything else if he doesn't want to so that will be nice. I am just hoping that it gets a little easier as time goes on and I have to do this a few times. His plan right now is to stay there for about two years with this company, then return and finish school.
A baby update, we go in for the ultrasound to find out what we are having when Ben gets back! I am at about 19 weeks, so almost 5 months. I just started feeling the baby moving around a couple weeks ago, but Ben was able to feel it before he left so that was pretty neat. It has been pretty fun being pregnant and experiencing all the changes. But so far everything seems to be going well. I am still working at the Dentist office and enjoying that. Other than that I guess everything is still the same, still moving forward!

Gotta Love Idaho

I don't quite understand why the weather changes so often in this place but man just be summer already!!! I guess it could be a lot worse and there could be tornados and tsunamis and earthquakes but there isn't so thats a good thing I guess, but I would just like it to be about 30 degrees warmer and I will be very Happy!

So today I am about 14 weeks along and am starting to feel better and have a little more energy. The whole thing is really pretty exciting, I am learning a lot, I didn't realize how much I didn't know about having a baby. I am set to find out what I am having in the end of July, so it's still a while away but everything has been going really fast actually.

The only real updates I have right now are that Ben is actually looking into working for an oil company in North Dakota!! It's crazy but the pay seems to be really nice, so we might try it out and see how it goes, It's going to be a lot of work for him because they work 14 hr days for two weeks then they have 1 week off. It will be hard for him but a good start I guess, I would probably move there with him, I have no clue what I would do in the middle of now where but Im sure I could figure something out. Anyway I think that't the only real update I got to this point.

Kohler Family

I will start out telling everyone a little bit about what is going on with Ben and I. May 3rd was our three year anniversary! It goes by so fast! We are now living in a house in Rexburg and love it. I am currently working at Harris & Allen Dental in Idaho Falls, and Ben is a student at BYU-Idaho studying Construction Management. He is is helping out his brother right now doing masonry. We are happy living close to both of our families and will take any excuse to go visit them all.
Ben opened a coin business about a year ago in a Pawn Shop that his brother-in-law and Dad own called Patriot Pawn and Gun. He loves doing that on his free time, mostly Fridays and Saturdays because that's when they are open. He has learned so much about precious metals since he started doing this and he is very good at what he does, he has already gained a large client base.
For my free time I love to TRY and make clothes and refinish furniture. On my other blog I have a bunch of pictures of furniture I have redone. Well I think that's all I am going to do for now, it's a good start.
